More Regenexx Reviews: One Patient’s Reminder of the Help She Got from the Regenexx-ACL Stem Cell Procedure

A reader asked for more Regenexx reviews and fewer big data downloads. While I love highlighting individual Regenexx reviews and patient outcomes, I also recognize that we’re some of the only providers who transparently publish the data from the hundreds and thousands of patients that we treat. However, this one was so special, I really felt the need to ditch the data for a morning and let you see this patient’s “reminder”.

When I walk into a room to see a patient, I can usually tell if we’re helping from the expression on their face. In speaking with them, when they’ve had a problem for a long time, they all tell a similar story. One day they recognized that they were walking more normally or could bend or lift and that they had “forgotten” about the pain. Some use reminders to make sure they remember what it was all like, as they never want to go back to that place again. Above is what motivates one patient. In 2011, she underwent the Regenexx-ACL stem cell procedure for an ACL that she heard pop while skiing 7 years earlier. She decided to ignore her knee and keep going and then three weeks later they transported her down the mountain in one of those pull cart affairs. She was unable to ski without her knee becoming swollen and activities like gardening and hiking gave her problems. She also did undergo an ACL surgery, which didn’t help. Her MCL ligament was also an issue in that it was chronically lax.

How did she do? Well, she keeps this comic above her desk, lest she forget that now she takes the “Haven’t Torn Your ACL” trails. She wanted me to know that we had changed her life through this cute reminder of how bad it used to be!
