Regenexx Blog Reaches 1,500 Posts!

regenexx blog

These past few months, as I watched the counter on the blog dashboard inch toward 1,500, I knew it was time for a meta-post celebrating the event. Hard to believe that one thousand and five hundred times I’ve sat at a computer and blogged about something! Hard to believe that I’ve been blogging since October of 2008!

I’ve often been asked why do this? After all, it almost always requires me to get out of bed at 5:30 while the rest of the house sleeps and find something to write about. However, while there are times when it’s a struggle to get it done, for the most part I enjoy the process. First, it forces me to keep up on the latest medical literature, something many physicians have difficulty finding time to do. Second, searching the U.S. National Library of Medicine for topics often allows me to stumble into research studies in another subject that I didn’t know existed! Finally, it gets me in gear for a very busy day!

I’d like to thanks a few people behind the scenes. One is Rob Kramberg, one of our NY/NJ area Regenexx Network providers who sends me many articles a day to digest. Some of those research papers make it into the daily blog. In addition, Carol Yates is a Regenexx employee who tirelessly goes through each blog.

The upshot? The Regenexx blog is both my self-education tool and now a daily tradition. Here’s to reaching 2,000 posts!
