Meet Dr Markle of Regenexx

POSTED ON IN Latest News Regenexx Provider Network BY Chris Centeno

This morning I have another installment in our video series where you can get to know our Regenexx Providers. Dr Markle of our Colorado clinic got into interventional orthopedics through fitness. In addition, his desire to avoid the pitfalls of traditional medicine was another impetus. So enjoy meeting yet another fantastic Regenexx doctor!

Dr Paul Berger referred me to you. Two bad shoulders. Deterioted ligament in one, Tendonitis in both. Can platelet injection help? Approximate costs? Medicare?

    Thx

    Alyn,
Please thank Dr. Berger for us. We'd need to see your MRI's and take a full medical history which you can do online as part of the Candidacy Process. When it comes to shoulders we also often do a stress ultrasound as part of the exam. All of those things together determine whether a Platelet Procedure, or stem cells would be needed. Unfortunately, neither Medicare, nor Health Insurance covers these type of Procedures, yet. Cost depends on what it is determined is needed.
