I have severe arthritis in my shoulder with bursitis and bone spurs. Some fluid.
No tears in the rotator and surrounding tissues. Will stem cell therapy help me?

    Linda,
It's likely. However whether a Regenexx procedure and which type of procedure would help your specific situation is based on medical history, current MRI's, our registry data, and other factors which are part of the Candidacy process. Generally speaking though, the bone spurs are the result of instability, so finding the cause of the instability and treating that, and treating the arthritis in the joint as well would be the direction. Nanette,

There are different types of rib fractures and different reasons why a rib fracture would not heal. We'd need to look at your images and take a full medical history. If you'd like us to to evaluate your particular case for Candidacy, please submit the Candidate form: http://www.regenexx.com/the-regenexx-procedures/non-union-fractures/ http://www.regenexx.com/can-a-precise-stem-cell-injection-work-where-surgery-fears-to-tread/

Nanette, we have successfully treated quite a few non-healing fracture through the years, but we would need to take a look at the CT scans of these rib fractures to see if this is a good fit.
