How Do Stem Cells Work? – Part 1

I’m starting a new series of very short (<1 min) videos, each on a single concept from the research literature on the topic of “How do stem cells work?” Most patients that I meet really don’t know, so the goal is to educate. This first video is on how recent research has shown that stem cells can transfer their fully charged mitochondrial batteries into damaged cells to provide a power boost. This video was inspired by a recent paper just out this month that talked about ways to better understand and optimize this phenomenon.
