New Regenexx Research Lab Video…

We took receipt of our nifty $200,000 cell sorter this week, so I took the opportunity to take a quick video of the tools we now have in our Colorado Regenexx research lab. It’s always interesting to see this news story or that showing a doctor performing stem cell treatments with an automated bedside centrifuge or a simple sterile hood tucked away in a clinic treatment room. It’s sometimes hard for patients to understand the levels of sophistication in stem cell clinics which break down to:

Regenexx Research Lab

On the first level, we have the average clinic who bought a bedside machine and took a weekend course. It works to create PRP and simple bone marrow concentrates, but it’s not fancy-kind of like that three speed bike with the frilly tassels you had as a little kid. Then there’s the clinic that invests more and does it’s own processing, kind of like that 10 speed bike you eventually upgraded to. However, all of those pictures of doctors proudly showing off their hoods doesn’t mean there is any level of sophistication beyond the basics. Then there’s what we have (and all of our Network providers have access to) in our Regenexx Research Lab. This is more like the new Ferrari 488 you saw parked in front of the Ritz-it’s a whole different animal from that 10 speed bike.

The upshot? Ten speed bikes are fine, they get you from point A to B. However, why buy the 10 speed bike of stem cell treatments when you can get the Ferrari? In the end, there isn’t another clinic in the United States with anywhere near the horsepower of our research lab. Second place in that contest is the ten speed…
